About VARTA DroneHunter

Autonomous counter-UAV defense, built for the modern battlefield

VARTA DroneHunter develops modular kinetic counter-UAV systems and autonomous short-range air defense (SHORAD) platforms. Our interceptors close the low-altitude gap that radar-guided air defense leaves open — neutralizing FPV kamikazes, reconnaissance copters, fixed-wing UAVs, and loitering munitions before they reach their targets.

Every system is built around three modular layers: 20mm kinetic munitions engineered per threat class, the SYLA 4-channel firing control board with native MAVLink integration, and the DOZOR AI module for autonomous detection, classification, tracking, and engagement. Each layer plugs into nine verified Ukrainian FPV platforms, so operators convert existing fleets into interceptors instead of replacing them.

Three operating modes give commanders proportional control — manual piloting, AI-assisted engagement with human approval, and fully autonomous intercept. Human override authority is preserved at every stage. VARTA is a BRAVE1-recognized defense technology company engineering cost-efficient counter-drone capability designed for the ecosystem rather than against it.
