AUTONOMOUS ENGAGEMENT

Equipped with the DOZOR AI module, Sich detects, tracks, and engages targets autonomously.

Kill Chain

Five-step autonomous pipeline from first sensor contact to mission reset. Each stage executes in seconds. The operator retains override authority throughout.

Detection

Dual-sensor scan - optical and thermal cameras sweep the airspace. The AI identifies aerial objects against sky, terrain, and clutter. Motor heat signatures light up against cold sky in any visibility condition.

Technical Overview & Applications

Sich is VARTA's ready-to-deploy 10-inch interceptor platform. A compact airframe carries a 2 kg payload over a 20+ kilometer mission radius, communicates over analog video link, and mounts two 20mm barrels for close-range kinetic intercept.

The platform is optimized for high-volume deployment against small, numerous threats — FPV kamikazes, loitering munitions, and compact reconnaissance drones. Its size keeps unit cost low and allows rapid fielding across distributed positions. Optional thermal camera integration extends engagement capability into degraded-visibility conditions. Sich is available in three configurations: the base platform (two barrels, no thermal, no AI), a Short A variant tuned for fast-moving fixed-wing targets, and Sich AI, which adds a Kurbas or Caddx 384 thermal camera and the DOZOR AI module for autonomous detection, classification, tracking, and engagement.

Deployment scenarios include forward-area point defense, protection of command posts and logistics nodes, mobile interception during advance or retrograde, and saturation defense against drone swarms where cost-per-kill is the decisive variable. Every configuration preserves human override authority at every stage of the kill chain.
